Hello! My name is Jan Christopher… I am a full time professional licensed Florida realtor and active licensed Florida registered nurse serving customers one-to-one as a Client or RN Advocate. I have over 40 years of personal experience renting, buying, staging, building a new home, and selling, in the real estate industry. Over many years, my personal and professional needs and desires, as well as those of my family, have continued to evolve, so we continued to sell, buy, and relocate. I quickly learned how to stage our home to reflect our home’s best qualities and to help a potential buyer imagine what the home might offer them and their family. Our homes sold quickly; several times, we were fortunate to receive multiple offers. Relocating taught me to be resourceful with who does it best and how to arrange those moves across town or to another state. On several occasions, we purchased a vacant lot and decided to build our home. I was honored to collaborate with an architect to design the home of our dreams, and to work with the builder and his subs to bring that design to life. Our family has always felt that landscaping enhances property value, is important to extending our home’s interior living space outdoors, and to adding quality to the environment that often hosts many events so important to our daily lives. As a Master Gardener, I enjoy “getting my hands dirty” and have worked with amazing landscapers who helped to make our exterior vision a desirable reality. In 2001, my family and I moved to Naples. WOW!!! What an amazing area. I have worked and raised my daughters here. I have direct knowledge of the schools and opportunities for families and for individuals moving here. My mother is an active senior now living with me, so I also am well aware of the advantages that southwest Florida offers to our seniors. I love to travel and have been fortunate to visit four continents: Africa, North America, Europe, and South America. On those travels, I have observed and have been invited to participate in many different lifestyles, homes, and customs of people from around the world. My travel experience helps me to appreciate our wonderful world diversity and gave me an ability to see things from different points of view. I enjoy humor, reading, baking/cooking, music, scuba diving, swimming, dancing, golf, great food and sharing a drink with my family and friends. All of these life experiences have taught me to be a good listener, to be an effective negotiator, and to be an excellent problem solver … all great values when put to good use for you and your benefit - especially when you decide to rent, buy, or sell a property, or to relocate a loved one or your family to Florida. I received my Florida Realtor license in late June, 2018, and began my professional real estate career with Waterfront Realty Group, Inc., in Naples. I am an active member with NABOR: Naples Area Board of Realtors, and NAR: National Association of Realtors, with the AHWD designation.
